• Christmas carolers raise over £90! Thank you to Tesco Oaktree for supporting this fundraiser.
• The Christmas Market raised over £1350.
• Year 8 had a blast at their disco, and raised over £156.
• Music students treated us to a festive delight and raised over £450 at the Christmas Concert.

What is Academy+?

Your brilliant efforts go towards Academy+ funded initiatives which offer our Samworth Church Academy students education beyond the classroom, such as:

Year 7 went on a one week bushcraft residential trip where they learnt all about resilience, teamwork and survival skills. Learn more here. 

Project Flavour, all students learn an appreciation of ingredients and nutrition, as well as developing practical cooking skills that students can employ throughout their life. Learn more about the impact of Project Flavour here.

Project Can Do, a group of Year 11 students learn how to achieve their full potential through developing a new business idea to grow highly desirable and transferable skillsets, with support from local business mentors. Learn more about the impact of Project Can Do here.
